Philosophy of
Invisible Horse Control
I believe that the most effective way to train your horse is by showing him that listening to you is the best solution for him.
I create my training programmes based on these things:
-
1
I try to get my horse to want to listen to me
Over the course of my horses career I always try to get him to want to listen to me and to believe in me, in every situation. And actually the way to convince him that what you want, is also the best thing for him is quite easy.
-
2
I always want my horse to feel good after he did something well
I always want my horse to do only the things that he is currently capable of, and I always try to make sure that he feels good after a correct execution. On the other hand if I am not happy with the way my horse just did some particular thing, I keep repeating it, until I am happy with it.
-
3
I gain not only my horses respect, but also his trust
I really like horses a lot, and I always want the horses that I work with, to like me back. I can achieve that by not gaining just my horses respect, but also his trust. I always want my horse to listen to me, but I am always fair to my horses.

I dont need to think like horse, but I need to understand the way horses think
I dont have to act or think like a horse for a horse to like me, however I have to understand the way horses think. Horses understand only a very simple hierarchy. They respect the ones, that are “above” them in the hierarchy, and they ignore the ones who are “bellow” them. In order for you to be able to teach your horse anything, and for your horse to listen to you, you need to have his respect.

I never want my horse to do things that he is not capable of
You need your horses trust in order for him to feel safe next to you, and listen to you. You can gain your horses trust by not asking him to do things that he is currently not capable of, and by never putting him in a situation that would be dangerous for him. Additionally you need to be fair to him at all times.
