In case you need a friendly reminder, the USDA (US Dept of Agriculture) recommends the average 1000 pound horse needs 3mg (milligrams) of organic selenium and at least 500 IU (international units) of vitamin E daily.

2. Farrier Low and High Stretch

This stretch relaxes many muscles surrounding the hip, the front of the back leg, the gluts and the sacroiliac joint such as the tensor fasciae latae, the extensor digitorium lateralis and the extensor digitorium longus.

3. Forward Farrier Stretch

This is a great stretch for the hamstring muscles, both the semimembranosus and semitendinosus, located on the hind end of the horse.
